8. See if your city offers self help group sessions. Churches offer
free or low cost classes for many special needs, such as grief
counseling, and the like. You could call churches to see what they
offer. Your local WMCA and other agencies may have just what you need.
Be proactive, reach out for help! Your life and future are worth it! God
said that one soul is worth more to Him than the whole world, with all
it’s beauty and riches. This, of course, includes YOUR soul.
9. Meet with a lonely neighbor or co-worker if they , too, are open
to overcoming depression or loneliness. Use your time together to plan
strategies to defeat loneliness. These meetings will add structure to
both your lives and give you something to look forward to. If you wish,

10. In the past, did you have a hobby or special interest, skill, or
pastime? Consider getting back into it, or try a new hobby, even take a

favorite ways to relax is crocheting ponchos, newsboy’s caps, and “funky”
purses , etc. which are hot items in the teen market, so they sell well.

projects to finish, they never get bored because they always have
something to do. This is the secret to making your alone-time work for
