Chapter 26. Solution #1: Speak Life And Blessing
Upon Yourself And Family
Here are some verses you can tailor to meet your own needs, by
paraphrasing them into a positive declaration, or confession;
Ps. 23:4 “I will fear no evil, for God is with me.” (there’s
no need to rephrase that but you could separate it into two positive
confessions if you like.)
Rev. 12:11 “They overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb
and by their testimony.” I overcome evil by the blood of Jesus
and my belief in Him.
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil
and he will flee from you.” I belong to God, and I command you,
devil, to flee.
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he
shall lift you up.” I am nothing in my own power, Lord please
lift me up.
Gal. 1:4 “(Jesus) who gave himself for our sins, that he might
deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of
God..”
I am free from the power of sin because Jesus gave himself for my
deliverance.
Ps. 9:9 “ The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a
refuge in times of trouble.”
I command oppression and trouble to leave. The Lord is my refuge.
2 Cor. 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new
creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things are become
new.”
I am a new creation in Christ! My old life is passed away.
Col. 3;15 “and let the peace of God rule in your hearts…and be
ye thankful.”
Your peace rules my heart and I am thankful.
