Chapter 26. Solution #1: Speak Life And Blessing
Upon Yourself And Family
(Grandma here) Remember, Christian singles, when we discussed how
the words in the Holy Bible are LIVING WORDS? They are from the heart
of God, the creator of the heavens and the earth. God SPOKE the
universe into existence. He created it from nothing by the power of
His Word. When you speak these Power Words, repeatedly, you will see
things begin to change, beginning with your attitude and your dreams
and plans for the future. Then the Lord can bring people your way to
set things in motion. You will be amazed at the people He rounds up to
help you or give you information you needed to know. Expect a miracle!
Now, let’s get back to Cheryl’s testimony:
Here are some verses that illustrate the power of the tongue;
Proverbs 6:2 …you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by
the words of your mouth”
Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death
James 3:6 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the
parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course
of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
I Peter 3:10...whoever would love life and see good days must keep
his tongue from evil, and his lips from deceitful speech.
Here is an example, from my life of speaking despair and depression
upon myself: I believed a lie from the enemy. In fact I kept saying I
was cursed. I believed I was cursed because depression runs in my
family and I suffered depression most of my life. I’d heard of
generational curses and figured that was my lot in life, but through
these Bible verses I realized I’m blessed through Jesus and all
curses have been nailed to the cross. (Galatians 3:13). I also
suffered loneliness and rejection, and I believed I was cursed in this
area too; another lie from the enemy I believed, giving him the right
to torment me more and push the roots of this emotional pain so deep,
it was hard to recognize, let alone heal.
This is another verse that helped me; Eph. 1:3, “Praise be to the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in the
heavenly realms with every blessing in Christ.”
