Christian singles, do you see the great advantage you have over
non-believers, in being able to be the one who THINKS THEY CAN? You
already have “the keys to the kingdom!” Jesus said that whatever
you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven, and whatever you bind on
earth will be bound in heaven. By your own words you can proclaim a
victory here on earth, in the name of Jesus, and it will be recorded
in heaven! You can’t fail here on earth if the victory you claim
ownership to is within the will of God for you. So you have every
reason to be an optimist, to expect a blessing, to ask the Lord for
favor, as you overcome loneliness and depression! It certainly beats
staying in the rut of the pessimist. God is the ultimate optimist, but
then He has a vantage point to view your future success that is unseen
by you. YOU MUST TAKE YOUR OPTIMISM BY FAITH! On the lighter side; Do
you know what the pessimist did? Before he died he had this epitaph
inscribed on his tombstone, “I EXPECTED THIS!”
Testimony Of a Christian Single Who Overcame Depression By
Prophesying Victory
I have a special personal testimony to share with you, from Cheryl,
a Christian sister. She had struggled with loneliness and depression
for years, believing she was cursed, until she grabbed hold of the
power of positive confession. You can do this too! Did you know you
can affect your future when you make prophetic affirmations about your
victory over any problem you have? This must be done under the
supervision of the Lord, because you will say “in the name of Jesus”
so pray about it and be sure you are speaking the will of God for your
life. (for instance, you may want to prophesy your marriage to a
single in your church, but God knows this Christian single better than
you do, and he or she may not be right for you at all!) So we can’t
do this, presumptuously. The Holy Spirit will let you know. Walk by
faith in God, not by sight and speak victory even before you see it
