Chapter 26. Solution #1: Speak Life And Blessing
Upon Yourself And Family
And you already know what God sees in you, a child He loves and
wants to forgive, if you embrace His Son’s sacrificial payment for
your sins, and His healing and deliverance that are yours; (by his
stripes (whip lashes) we are healed.) Your complete healing was
accomplished 2000 years ago! You just have to throw out those old,
debilitating, defeating tapes (negative words) you have played over
and over in your mind and replace them with God’s positive,
life-giving words of faith and hope. In other words, you must be
determined to accept God’s evaluation of you, that your are worthy
of His love, and toss aside all negative beliefs of hopelessness.
These thoughts or fears did not come from God! The proof is in His
Word, the Bible. Your “great cloud of witnesses,” whether they are
people who have been praying for you, or those witnesses watching and
praying for you from beyond the veil, possibly near but invisible, all
must be shouting, “yes, believe God!” He sees a future for you
that you are blind to, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, and
isn’t coming. Learn to use “your eyes of faith” and not your
physical sight. See God’s promises to you through your spiritual
eyes, instead, Christian single. Speak what you cannot physically see
right now, with faith, knowing God is bringing it to you, as you grow
and gain power over your negative thoughts and actions. You must be a
willing partner with the Lord, to bring about a victorious life, full
of power and glory, having overcome loneliness and depression. Your
“great cloud of witnesses” surely have Great Expectations for you!
Read Hebrews 12:1- “Wherefore, seeing we are encompassed about with
so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and
the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience
the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus, the author and
finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him (your
salvation and your new life!) endured the cross, despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Here we see
that we are running a race and we must press on, though tired or
discouraged with depression at times, and cross the finish line, with
God’s loving hand helping us win the race. There is a champion in
you, just waiting to break free and claim victory! When you get weary
and discouraged, just remember that race 2000 years ago, when Jesus,
enduring the cruelty and shame of the cross, nevertheless pushed
forward, victorious over His human side (having earlier prayed to let
this cup pass from me) but instead said to the Father, let your will
be done. As Jesus dismissed His spirit from His body, He gained for us
victory over sin and death. We don’t face anything as horrible as
dying, naked and despised, on a cross, but our troubles can be
difficult and here our determination, with God’s help, can bring us
over the finish line, triumphant too! Ask the Lord to help you
overcome, and He will be faithful and just to forgive your sin and
cleanse you from all unrighteousness, making you a new man or new
woman, ready to slay the dragons of depression and loneliness and rid
yourself once and for all of negative thinking and negative
confession.
