Self Sabotage and Self-deception
So if you think you may have fallen into the trap of self-deception
(and most of us have at some time) once you uncover it and realize that
you are allowing this sneaky, self-deceptive voice to cut you off from reality
( I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, WHO STRENGTHENS ME) you are no
longer under the sway of self-deception. Christ and His blessed promises
to us are the ULTIMATE REALITY, and you most sear this fact into your
mind until it is as natural to believe as what you allowed that voice of
defeat to do to your self-perception. Yes, it will require a little
nerve to step out in faith, but remember, the Holy Spirit is living
within you, such an awesome power that nothing can stand against you.
Our loving God wants you to succeed, to have love and to give love in
return.
The next chapter will examine personality disorders and the havoc
they cause. We will look into Narcissistic behavior. Some use the term
to describe someone who is simply in love with themselves. I just heard
a reporter call Paris Hilton a narcissist. But narcissism can go much
deeper, as they can also be control freaks, mentally unstable, and many
are violent. The earmark of the Narcissist is that they cannot love
anyone, even their children. They have no empathy for others, and become
raving maniacs over the smallest incident. But more on that later. For
now, Christian single, let’s have some chuckles, a little medicine to
make your heart merry!
