Christian Date Mate has an added feature that we are now building into our pages of listings for each city. We will feature various churches, Christian clubs and other businesses where you can meet with your new friend, in a warm and safe atmosphere. It will work like this: Say you live in St. Louis and your new friend lives nearby. The same page that he or she clicked on to find someone in St. Louis (this would be YOU!) will also feature many of the places where you can meet, or attend church together. They will feel more comfortable coming to your city if they see all the facilities available for your first meeting, or for a date the next time. Of course, you may choose to get together at your favorite restaurant or coffee house, but the listing will offer alternatives, too. Generally, the person who invites another single to dinner will pay for both, unless you decide to go “Dutch Treat” ahead of time, or the gentleman insists on picking up the tab. It is better to select an inexpensive first date, like sharing good conversation over coffee or fruit drinks at a health food bar, etc., than spending a lot of money on entertainment or dining. The first meeting should be relaxing, and easy on the budget. Then the guest will not feel obligated, should you not wish to date again.
