CHRISTIAN SINGLES
GUIDE TO ONLINE DATING ADVICE
Don’t respond to cries for money from some Christian
children’s home in a foreign country, Christian singles,
because it’s undoubtedly going into the pockets of
unscrupulous people. Most legitimate Christian children’s
homes abroad have strong ties with churches in your
country, and you can get their address from your church,
or send money to a well-known ministry, like Samaritan’s
Purse, so that you do not give to thieves. This only
encourages them to steal from more people.
CHRISTIAN SINGLES, SAVE MONEY ON
SHOPPING AND DATING
Two generous, tenderhearted women I know, one a
Catholic and one a Jewish lady, each get a mailbox full of
pleas from so many children’s homes and aid
organizations, that they can only send two or three
dollars to each one. Well, over time, they probably send
$30.00 a year to each of these “charities.” I tried to
warn them, but they really believe the letters, telling
about all the good things they are doing with their money.
This is a travesty, taking gifts from people who really
need the money for their own bills.
I wish pastors, priests and rabbis would investigate
some of these charities to see if they are honest. Since
the charities are using the mail to reach those donating,
the postmaster general and other agencies should be
advised of fraudulent pitches for money. There are so many
responsible, trustworthy charities that there must be a
way to put the phony ones out of business.
